WONDERLAND CHARACTERS

Cheshire Cat
One of the most bizarre creatures of Wonderland. Cunning and mischievous, he can appear and disappear at will, resulting in playing jokes and scaring others. Upon meeting Alicia, he feels a strange connection with her and becomes a dear friend to her. Although he ticks off Alicia at times, he is very helpful and always has advice, though they are sometimes told as riddles. He also thinks that Alicia is part of a prophecy that can save Wonderland from the malice and blood-thirsty Queen of Hearts.

White Rabbit
A white rabbit who is always late and constantly looks at his pocket watch. His rabbit hole can appear at any time and any place at his will, so he used that advantage to bring Alicia to Wonderland to help end everyone's suffering. He too believes that Alicia is part of the prophecy. He is only helpful for a little while, but then always runs off when he fears of being late for something.

Caterpillar
A thin-skinned, ill-tempered, hookah-smoking oracle. He knows almost everything that goes on in Wonderland. He is the one who tells the White Rabbit to send for "The One" who can fulfill the prophecy. Although he is wise, he doesn't know the secret about Wonderland's kingdom. When he meets Alicia, however, he begins to have his doubts...

Gryphon
A kind and loyal creature that has the head and wings of an eagle, but the body of a lion. He once served as a bodyguard for the kingdom, but was banished after a tragic incident, though he won't say why. He saves Alicia's life from the Jabberwock and continues to be loyal to her, helping her in any way he can. He is the only one who knows the secret about Wonderland's kingdom and feels that Alicia is destined to fulfill the prophecy.

Jabberwock
A loyal servant to the Queen of Hearts, the Jabberwock is one of the most-feared creatures in all of Wonderland. He is described as a "dragon with the teeth of a rat's and the strength of a dozen lions".  His job is to kill whoever he thinks is plotting against the Queen and to find "The One" before the prophecy is fulfilled.

Mad Hatter, March Hare, and the Dormouse
This eccentric trio spend their time having endless tea parties, telling nonsensical riddles, and playing tricks on each other. When they first see Alicia, they are filled with fear, constantly bowing to her and calling her "Your Majesty". Alicia has no idea what they are talking about, but thinks the Gryphon may know the reason for their behavior...

Dodo
An eccentric bird that enjoys "caucus races". He does not say very much to Alicia, but keeps repeating the story about a young Victorian girl who first came to Wonderland long ago and wonders why she never came back. He doesn't understand that humans in the "real world" grow up and stop believing in childhood fantasies...or do they?

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
A very annoying pair of twins who can't some talking in rhyme. They were cursed after annoying the Queen of Hearts, thus making them talk in rhyme. They try to help Alicia, but knowing that they can't really do anything they just leave her alone.

Royal Card Guards
Soldiers that are literally cards. They serve the Queen by making sure that no one tries to sneak into her castle.

King of Hearts
The husband of the Queen. Because he is always afraid of making his wife angry, he decided to just let her run the kingdom herself. After disobeying one of her laws, he was thrown into the dungeon, where he waits to be freed and for "The One" to fulfill the prophecy.

Finally...

The Queen of Hearts
Full of malice and jealosy, the Queen rules Wonderland since her husband stepped down. She heard about the prophecy and will stop at nothing to prevent it from coming true. However, there is a secret that she is hiding- a secret that she hopes no one will ever find out...not even Alicia.

Wow, most of these characters I either killed off or ignored in my version! :oops:
I'm looking foreword muchly to your novel to see those characters develop :D
